I finally decided to move onto a mini frog this week for my next mini project. I tried asking various crochet groups on Facebook about whether I should do a mini frog to celebrate spring or a mini cow to continue my farm animals theme. I discovered that I haven't figured out how to correctly post in Facebook groups as I got no replies and my post is still pending in half of the groups I tried to post in! Lol, needless to say, I'm trying to learn more about posting in groups on Facebook. I'll have more updates on that later hopefully!!
Anyway, here is the first photos of my mini frog. It's not very recognizable yet as I've only got the bottom down so far, but I'll have updates soon with more pictures of my progress:) I will also eventually be posting a video of me making it and an expanded pattern will be available on my Etsy page. The original pattern I found is a bit heavy on the sewing side, so I'm in the process of writing my own beginner-friendly pattern that has little to no sewing in it.
Starting a crochet blog has been fun so far, but also a bit stressful as I try to figure out all the learning curves with the required technology. I've also struggled with trying to shift my schedule around to make sure I can post twice a week, which was my original goal. I'm still working out all the bugs, so please bear with me if I'm late posting occasionally! I'm planning to try and post on Tuesdays and Friday/Saturdays every week, baring anything big coming up. I am seven months pregnant as well, so I'll be taking a brief break when my sweet baby is born in April. Enough about me, though.
If anyone has any patterns they want me to try out and report on, let me know in a comment or email! I am also available to expand any patterns to make them easier to read for beginners. I do charge a small fee, but I try to keep it reasonable. Nobody wants to pay an arm and a leg for a basic pattern, including me!
